Catch The Downtown Windsor Santa Claus Parade On Saturday

The annual Santa Claus Parade hits Ouellette Avenue this Saturday starting at 6:00pm running from Giles to Pitt Street.

This cherished original route renews tradition and will feature the most dazzling floats in parade history along with lively music, and Santa himself. Leading the parade are Grand Marshalls boxing hall of famer Kara Ro, and Windsor Police Service Inspector Jen Crosby a 30 year veteran who led units such as the Traffic Enforcement Unit, Crisis Response Team, Nurse Police Team, Community Outreach and Support Team, and the Dedicated Hospital Officer Program.

“As part of this year’s parade festivities, we’re pleased to offer free hot chocolate for families to enjoy — handed out by Realty ONE Group Iconic in conjunction with the Downtown Windsor BIA. This is made possible through the incredible generosity of our downtown Tim Hortons and Vicky Smith. The hot chocolate station will be set up at Maiden Lane and Ouellette, creating a warm and welcoming spot for everyone joining us downtown. These events are all about bringing people downtown to celebrate the season, create special memories, and support our incredible local businesses,” said Chris Mcleod DWBIA Chair.
